We built Hypnotherapist Hub to be a place practising hypnotherapists can trust — for honest supervision, useful CPD, and straight answers. That same honesty applies to how the site itself is run. Here’s what you should know.

Who runs this site

Hypnotherapist Hub is run as a membership service for practising hypnotherapists, providing clinical supervision, monthly CPD training (Spotlight), a document library, live events, and a member community. The site is managed by Laura Shewfelt  who is an accedited supervisor with GHR. Laura can be contacted via out ‘CONTACT’ link in the main menu.

How we make money

Membership fees are our primary source of income. The first month of membership is free, so you can try the service before committing.

We also work with sponsors. Where a business or individual sponsors the site, this is disclosed on our Sponsor page, and any sponsored content or placement is clearly labelled as such — it is never presented as independent editorial content or a genuine member review.

Editorial independence

Content in our CPD training, Spotlight sessions, document library, and news updates reflects our own professional judgement and that of contributing practitioners. Sponsorship or commercial relationships never determine the clinical content, techniques, or advice we present. If a sponsor or partner’s product or service is featured or discussed, we will say so plainly at the point it appears.

Reviews

Reviews published on our Reviews page are submitted by genuine members based on their real experience of the service. We do not edit reviews to remove fair criticism, and we do not pay for positive reviews.

Supervision and confidentiality

Clinical supervision sessions are confidential group settings. Anything shared about cases, clients, or professional uncertainties in supervision stays within that group and is not used, published, or shared elsewhere without explicit consent.

Data and privacy

We collect the information needed to run memberships, process payments, and deliver events (such as your name, email address, and membership details). We don’t sell member data to third parties. If you’d like full detail on what’s collected and how it’s used, see our Privacy Policy [link to be added], or contact us directly via the Contact page.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, or you’d like more detail on how we operate, get in touch via our Contact page — we’re glad to answer.
