Laura Shewfelt has built her professional life around helping people create meaningful and lasting change. Through her work as a hypnotherapist, tutor and trainer, she has supported clients and fellow practitioners while developing a clear understanding of what therapists need after their initial training has ended.
Laura has been closely involved with the Innervisions School of Clinical Hypnosis, helping to guide students through their professional training. She has worked with therapists at every stage, from those taking their first steps into practice to experienced practitioners seeking fresh ideas, modern techniques and greater confidence.
Her approach is warm, down to earth and practical. Laura believes professional development should provide useful skills, honest support and ideas that therapists can confidently bring into their own work.
Why Laura created this service
Laura has seen how isolated working as a hypnotherapist can sometimes become. Many therapists work alone and, after completing their training, gradually lose the encouragement, professional connection and support they once had.
Without continuing support, it can become harder to manage challenging cases, remain motivated or keep up with new developments. Some talented therapists gradually lose confidence or leave practice altogether.
Laura wanted to create a place where hypnotherapists would not have to face those challenges alone.
This service brings together professional supervision, live CPD training, case support, practical resources and a supportive community. Members can continue learning, discuss the realities of practice and remain connected with people who understand their work.
Monthly live CPD introduces fresh approaches and practical techniques, while quarterly professional supervision provides a safe place to reflect, discuss concerns and strengthen professional confidence.
Laura’s vision
Laura’s vision is to create more than another collection of courses or recorded videos. She wants this to become a dependable source of support that therapists can return to throughout their careers.
It is a place to ask questions, share experiences, discover new skills and keep a practice moving forward. Most importantly, it reminds hypnotherapists that although they may work independently, they do not have to work alone.
